The buttons on this page have been created by superimposing text on two stamps issued as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of King George V in 1935. The "overprints" do not align by design, as is expected of hand-printed overprints. Interestingly, Calcutta was the only city in the then Empire of India (which still included Burma and present-day Yemen) that had two sights featured in the 6-stamp series.
